arrival at the 16th mile-stone of his

present, and to say that It was
enjoyable occasion la to speak very
mildly, Mr and Mrs H ire of that
enviable class whose friends equal
their acquaintances, and with the
assistance of their sister, Mrs Nye, of
Portland, all present were made happy
and returned to their home feeling
