He reports greater activi ty at the present time than has been exhibited for several yeara. Mr. Had' ley has just put 300 logs in tbe stream and will quit operations until the June Ireebets. Morris Johoson, who ba9 put 1,800 logs In will make a drive in February. Borne logs have already been sent down and are now In tbe boom at Florence. Lumbering prospects on tbe Hluslaw, Mr. Hadley states, are brigbt for the future. A new mill Is being erected at Acme, which will be tbe third to be operated at that place.
