The case of Dr C Billington, arresied on com plaint of H W Douglas on the churge of malpractice, came up for hearing in Justice Wheelei's court at 2 o'clock this nflernoon. Special Deputy Prosecu ting Attorney J M Williams appeared for the prosecution and Attorney L Bllyeu for the defense. The defense filed a demurrer to the charge and the attorneys spent the most of the afternoon arguing the cause for a demurrer. Motion of demurrer was sustained, on the ground that the complaint did not state upon whom the practice had been made. A new complaint will probably bo filed. Bnao Boat Corvai.lis.
