I.. May 11.—The terribly battered body of Mrs. Lau ra E. Regester. a Cranston woman, was found today in an old Hebrew cemetery of this city. She had evi dently been strangled, and her clothes were bloody and torn. The police believe she was murdered on the road and ragged to the ceme tery. The woman was 32 years old and had been divorced. It is un derstood site had recently become engaged to be married again. The investigation by medical ex pert» found that the woman was criminally assaulted. The bank's new block will have a frontage on West Ninth street of 60 feet and will be 15 feet deep. The lower floor will be divided into two large store rooms, both of which have been spoken for, nnd the upper floor will contain office rooms. At least one physician has asked for a suite of these rooms. The building will be faced with pressed brick. W. O. Heckart has been awarded the contract to build it. The Bangs Livery Co. has a lease on the Bonnett property for over a year yet, and until that expires the latter will not put up their brick building.
