THURSDAY, JUDKINS’ POINT ROAO DANGEROUS TO TRAVEL land fraud cases at this time actually depends on the result of the Booth trial. It is known that the next case scheduled to bi tried is that in which ex-State Senator R. A Booth, and a number of others, including James Henry Booth, defendant in the case now on trial, are under indictment for alleged conspiracy to defraud the Government of its public lands. Should the jury acquit Janie Henry at all Booth, it is not considered probable that the Government would proceed with the other case in which James Henry and his brother It A. Booth, both are defendants. On the other hallo, if the Booth jury should fail to racti an agreement the Gov ernment wants to be In a position that it may retry the case immediate ly. At all event». It will not be long before the court will adjourn for the u.uial sumn t vacation perl d. so that It would be useless at this time to set any great number of cases for trial.
