She and -Ml»s Vesta Da- vis were canoing, when the boat cap- i in I sized. Mise Davis succeeded reaching the shore, but Miss Yar nell sank to the bottom. The drown ing occurred ' just below the island. Grappling hooks were sent up and efforts are now being made to re-1 cover the b< ly. The body was recovered at 10 o’clock last night. 3eh old!
