The Linn County Vote.
The Albany Democrat has this ex­
planation of Hermann carrying Liuu
county:
The republicans are claiming Linn
county because Hermann had a plu­
rality here over Reumos. In view of
the fact that about half of those en­
titled to vote in the county did uot
vote thia is somewhat ridiculous. As
a matter of fact the county is not re­
publican, but if there was a total
vote, or nearly one of about .5500, the
county would show a democratic
plurality of at leant 400. The trouble
is several hundred democrats have
not been warmed up for a few years to
the situation and have l»eu staying
at home. The republican vote has
