The meeting, which waa a special one, was largely atteuded, and the motion to take part and assist iu the celebration in every way possible was adopted by an unanimous vote and amidst gn at enthusiasm. Committees on entertainment, deco ration, float and banquet were ap pointed aud are already working like beavers. Prominent among those iu atten dance waa Mrs. Helen M. Southwick, of Salem, Oregon.
