When bs was told by the sheriff that be was wanted be made a dive for his knife, but Sheriff Withers was too quick for ths young man and had him by the Deck in an Instant and soon thereafter disarmed him. He brought Ryce here late yesterday afternoon and placed him in jell for safe keeping. He notified Sheriff Parrott, of Roseburg, of the capture of the bird.
