State Universitv at Eugene Tuesday evening

in the last few weeks there has been a picnic at

another whopper at Kidder's Grove, one at Pop

the big Grangers and Hop Men's picnic at Inde
pendence. In addition te this gathering the
grange lodges meet twice a month and everyi
meeting is a picnic. Through these meetings the
people of Polk county 'are becoming-fairly well
acquainted.
