Pauline Nesmith returned to Sa lem Mouday. Mrs. S. Orr and Mrs. Stinson want to Salem Monday. A social dance was given here Friday night and was well attend ed and enjoyed by all. James Nesmith and wife went to Salem Monday. W. E. Goodell has been doing some work on the Morrow bridge across the LaCreol. as the water was so high it washed out under the south end and had commenced to fiink. Miss Edith Houck. of Mon mouth, was visiting II. C. Sey mour and wife last week. S. T. Riggs and Vid.i Myers, of Salem, were in Kicfcreall ims weeh. Mr. arid Mrs, Peter Cook drove to Independence Sunday, t Misses Carris and Edith Burch went to Portland Saturday, C. Whaley moved into his new house last week. Aurelia Burch, returned to school at Eugene Saturday to resume her studies. The basket ball team of this place went to Salem last Wednes day to play the Y. W. C. A. and came home victorious.
