Last Sunday one of the boys of the neighborhood caught a nice mess of trout within the city limits and as several outsiders were near by they vouched for his veracity. Mr. and Mrs. Charles Smith were in Fortland this week visiting Mrs. Smith's brother, who is in one of the city's hospitals. Mr. and Mrs. Harold House of Pedee were in attendance last week at their grandmother'3 funeral, Mrs. Rebecca Howard. The Zielisch home was joyous with a family reunion on Sunday. G. A. Dickinson has been laid up for a few days with a very lame back. Mr. and Mrs. A. E. Horton were in Salem the first of the week. The funeral of Mrs, cemetery last Saturday, Rev. Duns more officiating.
