Joe and James Oberson went to Sa lem Saturday to take the examina tion for the navy, but were rejected. The boys were much disapointed. Marion Butler has resigned his School at Buena Vista and has enter ed the service of his country, enlist ing in the Aviation Department. He left on Thursday for Portland and thence to San Francisco.
