A subscription to the Independence Enterprise by anyone who has not al ready been subscribing for the pa per counts 4o0. Subscriptions for six months count one-half these votes. Everyone gets a prize in that manner. The annual military day at the Ore con Agricultural College Is assuming significant proportions as a social event ud l attracting state wide at tention. For the occasion many visit fir from 11 nuns of the state come to the campus and in the future this will be encouraged by offering special rates on the railroads of the state. Tl.l vear was a brilliant success. The day was Ideal and the campus at Its best. The white dresses of the women, the full dress uniforms of the visiting officers and the drab suits of the cadets made a gay setting for the peaceful campus.
