Mrs. T E Klrkland. formerly of Indepen dence, entertained the delegates at her home In Albany with a splendid dinner. The delegates were royally treated by the people of Albany and the ladies returned with flattering praise of their treatment there. Th annual Memorial day exercises will be held next Sunday, May 30th, In the auditorium, all the churches in Independence uniting in the service. The services will begin at 11 o'clock, Rev. H. Chas. Dunsmore, D. D., pas tor of Calvary Presbyterian church of Indeowidence. will deliver the aa dress. Th music will be rendered by a choir composed of members of the various choirs and other volunteer sineers.
