Wilson's peace reputation ap
pears to have made a hit. In
the days when women suffrage
was still a matter of discussion
it used to be argued in ridicule
that women would be prone to
do their voting through frivolous

alleged the color of the ballot
would be to them more important
than the party name. If a wo
man went to the polls to vote,
garbed in an old gold satin, am
one of the ballots happened to

This frivolous tendency has
not developed so alarmingly that
any one would notice it. Rut
that the votes of women can be

Monmouth, just at present, is

place can create a great deal of
