"How to Do the Impossible"; text, Isaiah XI,: 111. MusfH, tin. exile, wan commanded to ko to l'liaranh ami (leiiiainl the release of the Child ren of Israel from bondage. Humanly speaking, il was an im possible undertaking; hut Moses, plus God, could do any tiling. David, the shepherd hoy, was chosen of (Iod to he kinj? of Isra el. Saul, the mighty, was kiritf and it was impossihle for David to dethrone him, hut lie recog nized the leadership of (Iod and the work was done. Itefore the disciples of .Jesus could do the impossihle they must he "endued with power." We must have a knowledge of the unknowahle Itefore we can see the invisible. Klisha prayed that the eyes of the young man (his servant) might he opened and when opened hy Divine agency, he saw the "mountain full of horses and chariots of lire around ahoul Klisha." We must have a vision of (Iod; then hy faith we take hold of Al mighty power. The sculptor must first have a vision of the work of art to he produced hefore he can clrsel il out of the unhewn stone. Daniel, when a captive, saw the invisihle and pictured the return of Israel to Canaan. Paul saw the invisihle hefore he was aide to do his mighty work. We must hear the inaudible before we can do the impossible. The Lord was not in the wind storm, nor in the earthquake, nor in the fire, but in the still, small, inaudible voice. I King XIX: 11. 12.
