Dr. Laura Price, late of Chicago Post-graduate Medical School, has located in Monmouth and is fit ting up rooms in the , postof f ice block, is a valuable ' addition to Monmouth. The Doctor has had twelve years experience as in structor where they teach post graduate work to physicians, therefore we believe she is better qualified in her particular line of work than physician's who have not had this experience. Miss Lottie Montgomery, who has been attending summer school returned from teachers examina tion Friday evening and thinking that a little experience in setting type would be beneficial, tried her hand at that this week. The first day she set one and onef ourth galleys, which is about as much as the average apprentice gets done in a week. She will leave soon for her home in Crook Co. where she will teach during the coming year. Postmaster Wolverton is back from a weeks stay at Newport and reports having had a fine time and he looks it His nose and face are sunburned to a turn and his lips look as if they had come in contact with the notorious Chicago kissing bug, although it has not been reported as present on the coast by the weather bureau.
