The Ontario Optimist of last Thursday says: "Since some time Tuesday night or yesterday morning an appreciable quantity of oil has continuously been com ing from the oil well. This seems rather wonderful, as the drill has not even been at work for two or three days, but many people in Ontario know that it is true. for they have seen the oil very plainly". A warehouse association has been formed at Joseph, it being the intention to have but one warehouse there, all the people cooperating in this effort to ac comodate the shippers and wool growers without the expenditure of a dollar by those interests The construction i f a large ware house will start immediately, and will be completed and a wool baler installed in time to accom modate this seasons wool clip. The flow of 300 gallons a minute from artesian wells sunk near Luzon, Benton county, Wash., along the North Bank road, mav revolutionize irrigation in eastern Oregon, says the Pendleton Tri bune.
