The people of Oregon are with Mr. neney in his efforts to punish wrongdoers, but they would like to see him turn some of his attention to the big fish the men that got the land. The model newspaper of the world might as well be printed at Salem as anywhere. But the Journal is too modest to claim it Salem Journal. The Journal would be very nearly a model newspaper if it would only cut out that black-face typo in its editorials.
