I 9?. r Wine of Cardui Cured lier. 213 South Prior Street, Atlanta, Ga., March 21, 1903. I suffered for four months with extreme ncrvonsncss and lassitude. I bad a sinking feeling in my stomach which no medicine seemed to relieve, and!jsiii!T my appetite 1 1 became weak and lost my vital ity. In tkrea wcefca I lost fourteen pounds c jsh and felt that I must find spout1.?' relief to regain my health. Having heard Wine of Cardui prai.;ei by several of my friends, I sent for a boUlo and was certainly very plowed with the results. Within three dap my appetite returned and my stomach troubled mo no more. I could digest my food without difficulty and the nervousness gradually diminished. ITature performed her functions without difficulty and I am onco more a happy and well woman. OLIVE JOSEPH, Trca. Atlanta Friday Night Club. Early Friday morning, a fairly good-sized whale, while sporting around in the Ray, got stranded on the South side spit almost directly opposite the Ocean house. It lay wallowing in the shoal water, its huge proportions half exposed to view for several hours, until the rising tide re leased it. Once afloat, it struck a bee line for China at lightning speed and was no doubt half a thousand miles away in the Pacific ocean, before our sleepy citizens awakened to the fact that it might have boon captured while lying helpless on the beach and been a valuable attraction to excur sionists from the interior. It was thought to be about seventy feet in length, and the excised part of its body sttHxl about six feet above the wat r. Newport News. The quick relief which this liniment affords makes rest and sleep possible, and that alone ia worth many times its cost. Many who have used it hoping only for a short relief from Buffering have been happily surprised that after awhile the relief became permanent. Mrs. . II. Liggett, of Yum Yum.Tenessee, 17. Waters says the Sentinel man needn't put on so much style because he saw the Rock ford, Illinois Forest Citys play ball tbirty-five years ago, as he saw them himself many a time, as well as the Red Stockings of Cincin nati ; Athletics, of Philadelphia ; WThite Stockings, of Chicago; Nationals, of Washington, D. C, and crack Canadian clubs: Good! We are pleased to know that there are other men in this country that can remem ber when they played baseball for the fun there was in it ; when the players didn't wear ten-acre lots on their hands, and when every member of a nine helped play the game instead of depending solely on the battery. Those were the days when each community had its team ; when Stringtown and the Grubby End met, rolled up their sleeves and went at it, and the best nine won. Those were the days when excitement ran high, and when the game was truly a 'National' one." A Positive Necessity. Having to lay upon my bed for 14 days from a severely bruised leg, I only found relief when I used a bottle of Rallard'e Snow Liniment, lean cheer fully recommend it as the best medicine for bruises ever sent to the afflicted. Weak lungs are made strong by the use of Dr. Tierce's Golden Medical Dis covery. It cures obstinate and stubborn coughs, bronchitis, bleeding of the lungs and other symptoms which, if neglected or tuiskillfully treated, terminate fatally in consumption. The action of Golden Medical Discovery in the curing of wast ing diseases is entirely philosophic. Emaciation, and consequent loss of weight, are among the most striking symptoms of what are known as wast ing diseases. The body is not being ade quately nourished, and the cause of this lack of nourishment is not lack of food but lack of ability in the stomach and the other organs of digestion and nutri tion to prepare the food for the assimila tion and nutrition of the body. Dr. Pierce's Golden Medical Discovery cures diseases of the stomach and the organs of digestion and nutrition, and so en ables the body to be nourished back to strength in the only way by which strength can come ; that is, by food per fectly digested and assimilated. Dr. Tierce's Golden Medical Discovery is a temperance medicine. It contains no alcohol, neither opium, cocaine or any other narcotic. Accept no substitute for Discovery There is nothing just as good "or y' though many things may pay the dealer a larger profit. CAUGHT COLD.
