The doors open Saturday at 5:20 p.m. Admission is free and the movie is rated PG-13. For more information: 503-623-2633. COMMUNITY CALENDAR Cannon Gallery features stories The Dan and Gail Can- non Gallery of Art will host an exhibition of “Story time: Contemporary Urban Narratives” now through Feb. 5. Hamersly to host public reception WOU SMITH FINE ARTS/ Itemizer-Observer Ten Strings and a Goat Skin Western Oregon will host a public reception for its winter exhibits at Hamersly Library Wednesday (today) from 4:30 to 6 p.m. Exhibits include “Guilty About Not Being Guilty” from Garima Thakur, which examines the paradoxes of growing up as a daughter in India; paintings by Chi Wang, an associate profes- sor of art at Changzhou University in China; and “American Folklife,” a look at the traditions the com- munity has made and local organizations that add to campus and community folklife.
