Disaster to great business enter prises can never have its effect limited to the men at the top. It spreads throughout, and while it is bad for everybody, it is worst for those farthest down. The capitalist may he shorn of bis luxuries; but the wageworker may be deprived of even bare necessities. The preservation of our forests is an imperative business necessity. The peoples of the Americas can prosper best if left to work out their own salvation in their own way. Combination and concentration should be not prohibited, but sup ervised and within reasonable limits controlled.
