Epworth Leaque Social.
The Epworth League held its
annual business meeting for the
election of officers in the new brick
lodge room Monday evening, the
meeting resolving itself into a very
pleasant social session at the con­
clusion of tbe business routine. A
large number of friends of the
League members were present as
guests and a brief literary and
musical programme wan rendered
in a very creditable manner as
follows: Song, Choir; Cornet solo,
Chas. Cochran, with piano accom­
paniment by Miss Neva Perkins;
Heading, Miss Allie Phillips; Musical
pantomime exercise. The Ten V ir­
gins.
Word guessing game was
then introduced, Mrs. Jas Benson
awarded the prize, a beautiful
hoquet of roses.
