Many conveyances went from Cot tage Grove. There was a program of exercises in the open air, much enjoyed, athletic games and a very exciting game of baseball be tween Loiane and Divide. The score w a s 10 to 4 in favor of Lorane. It was declared to be the best game of ball ever played on the Lorane diamond. About 250 people were preseut. The day was tine and all were well | leased with the outing. Frizes weie awarded in the ath letic contest». Register. | Accidentally Shot. Henry Mcllwain was shot by bis wife while aiming at a mark. They bad been in the mountains fishing and were returning to Albany Tbursdty morning when the acci dent happened. The shot took effect in the nhdmncn and the wound is serious.
