GOING OUT OF BUSINESS This is an announcement contemplated for sometime, but just now settled def initely. Conditions are such that we find that it w ill be to our interest to re tire from the mercantile business. This is no scheme to reduce stock or dispose of certain lines of goods which are nearly unsaleable, but is a bona fide closing out sale, and the entire stock w ill be sacrified at actual cost, and in some in stances at less than cost. Nothing is reserved. Our reputation is such that the public can absolutely depend on this statement as a fact. The stock must be closed out by January 1st next, and you w ill readily see that we must do some great slaughtering of prices to accomplish this end. No such opportunity to secure bargains has ever before been offered buyers here, and w ill not likely be offered again soon. Better come early and make your purchases at once. Every article in our entire and large stock of :: :: :: :: :: :: :: Dry Goods, Clothing, Boots, Shoes and Furnishings in included in this sale. If you hesitate it will certainly be a ‘‘Lost Opportunity.” Low prices will move the {foods. S u m m o n *. In the Circuit Court, oi tne state of Oregon, for Lane county. Mary C.
