I lefeudiug the Coice recall, says the Journal, a Roseburg man, be sides criticising Ju d g e Coke, says that: First—A m istake w as made in allow ing others th an the coroner to handle the body before the in quest over M cClallen’s victim. Second—T h at a m istake was m ade when the coroner’s jury fixed th e degree of the crime. T h ird —T h at a m istake was made by the grand jury in recog nizing the acts of the coroner.
