A meeting of nearly a thousand
men cheered to the echo at Med'

Let no man underestimate the
situation who remembers injunction
suits against the Crater Lake road
and the Snake river bridge.
Creswell is growing rapidly. It
is rumored that two new additions,
one by C. L. AVeber and the other
by L. H. Johnson of Eugene and
Fred Moore o f Creswell are to lie
platted and placed on the market
this spring. Creswell is ambitious
to become a city and bids fair to
have that ambition realized to some
extent at least.
The last issue of The Timbermau
published at Portland was replete
with interesting matter regarding
the great lumber iudustry of the
Northwest. G. M. Cornwall has
made a great trade journal of the

The German' Americans of Cot­
tage Grove have organized a Ger­
man Lutheran church, with a
memliersbip o f 25, and will build
a church and a school building.
There were one hundred and

has a "workers conference” once
a mouth. There is also a teacher's
training class.

Christian Endeavor throughout the
