Eugene, Dec. 4—Shortly befdre noon yesterday Paul K ing, a young m an 21 years of age in the employ of the Booth- Kelly Lum ber com pany, while at work in the woods six miles above W endling, was cau g h t by a log w hich w as being pulled over another by rneaus of a line. T he log took a swerve young K ing did not expect and it fell on him, killing him in stan tly . His m other and two sisters live in I'airm ount, about three blocks east of the U niversity, an d were at once notified of the terrible acci dent. T he m other is almost pros trated with grief. T h e father of the young m an, E. A.
