P. A. Last fall the Easley Brothers, Ralph and Frank, leased the J. I. Jones farm northeast of this city, Mr. Jones lieiug their uncle, aud while ihey were lately from Mis souri, they did not have to be shown, but buckled into diversi fied farming with a vim. They purchased a fine bunch of merino sheep from J. F. Spray, some milch cows from J. 1. Jones, got together a bunch of swine and proceeded with their grain and hay seeding. They finished up their threshing job the first of this week and iu taking au inventory o f their product they find it runs about as follows: 2000 bushels of sjielts, a new kind of grain, excel lent for feed, which resembles oats or barley, and yielded for them from 40 to (>0 bushels to the acre. They also have 1610 bushels of oats from a little more than 20 acres, or on an average of over 70 bushels to the acre. Also 450 bushels of wheal and 100 tons of hay. Their sheep yielded 2550 pounds of wool for which they re ceived 26 ceuts per pound.
