T he M cKenzie raised thirty-six
inches an d sqnt the ten million feet
of logs between Seavey’s ferry and
the Coburg boom shooting into th e
boom an d the logging crews were
worked n ig h t and day with the
result th a t no logs were lost.
T heir W illam ette drive of eight
million feet lying between the
m outh of Fall ereek an d Spring-
field are m oving into the boom.
T h is will furnish logs sufficient
to keep the C oburg a n d Spring-
field mills ru u u in g until spring.
As soon as the C alifornia freight
rate was settled the Booth-Kelly
com pauy started up their Saginaw
mill and are ru u u iu g a fun day
crew at each of their three mills.
