You just simply can’t beat it anywhere. THE COUNTY ROCK CRUSHER ARRIVES On Thursday evening the coun ty rock crusher steamed into town with its crew, having left Eugene Tuesday. However, a slight break delayed it one-half day on the trip. On this Friday morning the crusher and crew proceeded out to Silk creek where the crusher crew w ill take up work on the old Cot tage Grove-Lorane road where they left off a few years ago and it is the intention to place crushed rock oil the remaining unimproved portion o f the road to Lorane, a distance o f seven miles. With this work completed, the old road from this place to Lorane, a dis tance o f 12 miles, will have been graded and covered with crushed rock and w ill soon become an ideal country road, both winter and summer. Much work has been done this summer on the new Cottage Grove-Lorane road and ere long there w ill be two first class wagon roads connecting Cot tage Grove with the Lorane valley. New fresh stock. Mr. Van Vleet recently sold iris 28-acre orchard, west from Central Point, to Autle & Orlopp o f Kansas for #11,500.— Medford Mail.
