HIGH SCHOOL NOTES. Information regarding the comet which was to pass the earth Mon day or Tuesday, and which, it was supposed, would do a great deal of damage, is afloat in the school, and the High School pupils who were greatly alarmed, believe t b it this is the cause of the haze which we have seen for the last two days. I Miss Viola Crocroft was absent from school last Monday. Toads, waterdogs and tadpoles are the latest specimens of the zool ogy class. The Sophomores are greatly interested in their work of collecting flowers for specimens. There are to he forty different flowers pressed and placed in the Herbarium*.
