The liens in this section are work
ing overtime these days and eggs
are so plentiful that the merchants
are about to make up a large num
ber of cases for shipmeut. They
are a little afraid the hens may de-
alare a strike after working so hard
and leave them to ship in again.
This is a good country for poultry,
and it is strange that no large
chicken ranches have beeu estab
lished. Several men have started
in to do this but none of them have
much means to put into it and to
get a large business, either requires
a large initial expense or years of
hard work.
