The Coast Fork: Timber Co. is pushing its work of building the mill as last as possible, but the principal delay is on account of the shippiug of the machinery, which is not quite complete. Last week a number of logs were floated down the river and into the pond to Eee how everything worked, and no difficulty was found in landing the logs right where they were wanted. By the time the mill is ready for operation the pond will be jammed full of logs, and will be liept full from then on. As uo difficulty is found in getting tho logs iu at this time iu the year, it can always be handled. Hop Pickers Wanted Hop picking will commence at Ii. R. The shop is well ecjuipped with a good iron and steel lathe, power drill aud power trip hammer, also baud saw, and circu lar saw, aud will be prepared to do all kinds of repair work.
