COTTAGE GROVE SENTINEL City conducts mobility hub survey The City of Cottage Grove is looking to design a mobility hub that meets the transit needs of its community. As part of our research, the city is reach- ing out for feedback about mobility hub needs. A mobility hub is a cen- tralized location where many different forms of transportation meet up to make using transit even more convenient. The study that is being created will be separated into three parts. The first part is to identify what Elsewhere in the Com- munity Center, a new space for Senior and Disability Services is still under con- struction. Over the next three months, city staff will be remodeling the northwest portion of the Communi- ty Center (the former lo- cation of the Genealogical Society Library) to accom- modate Senior and Dis- ability Services and Café 60. This will complete the scheduled renovations of the building. Until it is complete, the organization will be work- ing from the Reception Hall. Likewise, the Senior Center is not yet ready for operations. Other groups, though, have opened their doors.
