• It was a great day in Lo-
rane on Sunday, Aug. 12.
A small turnout at the
community potluck at the
grange, but a large number
attended the annual fi re de-
partment ice cream social.
Ii was wonderful to visit
community members and
former Loranians.
Many enjoyed the dunk
tank, the bounce house, fi re
truck rides and rides in the
EPUD bucket lift with mu-
sic by Kyle and Jim.

Store to see the unveiling of
the mural painted by long
time Lorane residents and
artists, Karen Pidgeon and
Alix Mosieur. Th e painting
depicts fl ora and animals in
our valley.
