CHAMBER NEWSLETTER
Our Mission: Th e Cottage Grove Area Chamber of Commerce promotes economic vitality through advocacy and collaboration with its members and the larger community.
Director’s Note
Th e 2018 season of Concerts in the Park is off to a great start!  We had an awesome
season opener last week.  Th e band was great, the crowd was plentiful and everyone
seemed to be having a great time despite the cool and breezy conditions. Th ere
WILL be a concert on the 4th of July and we’re adding something special to this
concert to acknowledge and celebrate our Independence Day. We’re working with
the Cottage Grove Veterans of Foreign Wars, American Legion and the Bohemia
Park Foundation to retire the old tattered fl ag that’s currently fl ying in the park and
replace it with a nice new fl ag to start the show on the 4th. Be sure to arrive early to
enjoy all of the 4th of July acknowledgements.  Local singer, Cora Branstetter will
sing the National Anthem aft er the installation of the new fl ag.  It’s going to be a
great way to start off all of the Independence Day celebrations around town so bring
your blankets or chairs to Bohemia Park on July 4th and enjoy another great concert
in the park! 6-8pm.
