Boys shut-out Sutherlin 5-0
Cottage Grove Speedway is
Celebrating The Class of 2017
with Grad Night at the races!!
The Lions defeat Bulldogs in doubleheader
C
Both Lions beat Sutherlin in their double header on Friday. In the varsity game both Brett and Wyatt
pitched great games. Thanks to some great defense and timely hitting by the whole team we won 6 to
1 and 5 to 0.
Special Shout out to Wyatt for "almost" pitching his fi rst no hitter. So close. Team is looking great.
Sure love our Seniors! Good leadership, good attitudes, and great boys.
In the JV game these boys played great in both games. Good pitching, exciting plays, good at bats,
nice team work, great attitudes and smiles! This team is looking better every game. Ending the double
header with a 6 to 0 shut out & 13 to 7 win. *Copy courtesy team page.

lavender products and their
uses.
Carol Tannenbaum moved to
Oregon in 1999 to retire on the
McKenzie River and fl y fi sh. .
Her desire to better utilize the
soil led to starting McKenzie

has been a member of the Ore-
gon Lavender Association since
2006 and a charter member of
US Lavender Growers Associ-
ation since 2012. The Tannen-

Cowboy
Cultural
Corner on Sunday 1-4
KNND 1400 AM Dallas
and PJ McCord love
hosting the Cowboy
Culture Corner every
Sunday
aft ernoon
from 1-4 on KNND.
It gives us a chance to
share the fi nest cowboy
music and poetry that you would ever want to stick an
ear to. Dallas, an excellent singer, songwriter, emcee and
storyteller has been involved with the cowboy genre for 30+
years. Many of the artist he and PJ play on the radio are
friends and fellow performers. Th is brings a personal touch
to the show. In 2007 Dallas was awarded Small Region Disc
Jockey of the year from the Academy of Western Artist in
Arlington, Texas. What a thrill to represent KNND and
receive the award from Lynn Anderson. Tune in pert-ner
every Sunday, settle back and enjoy the old and new western
music and cowboy poetry. You will not be disappointed.
