BOHEMIA NUGGET 2016 Entertainment (continued) Saturday Good Karma Band Saturday, July 16 at 4:30 p.m. Bohemia Park stage BMD welcomes the Good Karma Band to the Bohemia Park Amphitheater on Saturday at 4:30 p.m. They are the closing band for an afternoon music line-up from 1-6 p.m. The Good Karma Band began as a Beer family affair in 2003. The band offers a strong Country Top 40 repertoire with a dynamic country rock sound fea- turing a balanced musical instrumental collabora- tion and group vocal effort. Band members enjoy en- tertaining audiences with a wide variety of music – from bluegrass to country to oldies to original music. It’s a unique collection of great musicians who love what they do and they do it well. Feel free to clap along, tap your toe — or even get up and dance! The GKB logo is a calming art form with the colors of the chakra. At the time it was a father, son and cousin trio. When the band took a break, frontman Shon Beer played on. In 2012, Shon joined “No- Doubt” and “Captain PD” to form the cur- rent band and created a small video/audio recording studio producing an entertain- ing live stream every Saturday on Ustream and YouTube at 7 p.m. The band plays a variation of “soft nostalgia experimental modern alternative country rock” (folk rock). Band Members Shon Beer, vocals and drummer Captain PD, guitar NoDoubt, bass 21 to complete the lineup with guitarist Ken Luker and Adam Bushey on the drums. Haywire is currently per- forming its eclectic new show in music venues throughout Oregon. CCB#131872 Saturday, July 16 at 8:30 p.m. BMD welcomes Windy Ridge back to the Main Stage as our Saturday headliner band at 8:30 p.m. Windy Ridge has its roots woven deep in the musical fabric of Cottage Grove. Five of the members were born and raised in the Grove and the sixth is a welcomed transplant from South Carolina. Together they make up one of the longest enduring bands in the area. The band’s signature musical style blends Rock, Blues, Country and a little jazz. Windy Ridge “Rocking the Park” on Sat- urday night as our closing band is a long BMD tradition that provides an enjoyable evening of music and fun.
