BOHEMIA NUGGET 2016 Entertainment (continued) Alien Boy Friday , July 15 8:30 p.m. BMD welcomes Alien Boy to the Main Stage as our headliner band on Friday night at 8:30 p.m. Alien Boy is a Eugene- based four piece rock band with members who have played professionally in the Northwest for more than 30 years. The bands three vocalists create some very sweet three-part harmonies. Together, they are a for- midable outfi t, playing everyone's favorite rock songs and some very classy original material. Band members include: Roger McConnell, a guitar- ist and singer, has played in many NW regional acts, Saturday Calvary Creek Friday , July 15 1:45 p.m. Calvary Creek returns for its third year on the Main Stage on Saturday at 1:45 p.m. notably Alcyon Massive and Phamous Phaces. Mike Trathen, also a Phamous Phaces alumni, plays bass and sings Kevin White plays guitar and sings John Troute has played drums in some legendary NW bands, most notably with the Flasher & Eastman Band. Band Members: Jeff Smith, guitars and vocals Kevin Hampton, guitars Bill Tatton, bass Brad Helsel, drums Lance Quackenbush, keyboards Scott Smith, vocals Amanda Hinkle, vocals Lynell Thomas, vocals Since 2011, they have played at Creswell Coffee, Heroes Challenge, Saginaw Vine- yard and private venues offering a variety of pop, folk and soft rock from the 60s and 70s. Dallas McCord Saturday , July 16 1 p.m., Heritage Stage BMD welcomes back Dallas McCord to the Heritage Stage on Satur- day at 1 p.m. With a keen interest in preserving cowboy poetry and western music, Dallas is pleased to share his talents in an effort to inform & entertain. Founder of the Coast Fork Cowboy Festival (from 2005- 2009) he made it pos- sible for folks here to get a taste of western music and cowboy poetry. Through the radio show Cowboy Culture Corner on Cottage Grove’s KNND 1400AM radio station, the music continues near- ly every Sunday afternoon from 1-4 p.m. In 2007, Dallas received a national award from the Academy of Western Artists as the best Country and Western radio host. Dallas performs with many of the folks he’s introduced to the com- munity and radio listen- ers. Performers like Juni Fisher, The Sons of the San Joaquin, Pat Rich- ardson, RW Hampton, Don Edwards and Joni Harms, just to name a few. For a Sparkling Bright Smile!
