Through the generosity of our dedicated donors, the Family Relief Nursery: *Helps families who are under-stress *Improves school readiness and literacy *Keeps families together and children out of Foster Care *Lowers parents’ unemployment rates *Provides parent education and support *Decreases family emergency room use April is: Child Abuse Prevention Month The first $1500 of donations made during April will be matched, by members of the Nursery’s Board of Directors If you would like to join our community of givers, we invite you to visit our Website or Facebook page to make a donation. To raise awareness for Child Abuse Prevention Month, we are hosting, in collaboration with over 15 local agencies, a free “Children’s Health Fair”, which is open to all families in the Cottage Grove area. Your gifts allow a nearly 4:1 return on investment for Oregon Relief Nurseries. For each donated dollar given, the state saved nearly $4 in costs associated with child abuse, unemployment, criminal behavior, and other social issues.
