Boyce, incorporator Colin H. Livingstone, president Daniel Carter Beard, national Scout commissioner Ernest Thompson Seton, Chief Scout James E. West, Chief Scout Executive President William Howard Taft, honorary president Former President Theodore Roosevelt, honorary vice president and Chief Scout Citizen Looking back to 1912 First Eagle Scout, August 12 Arthur Eldred First national civic Good Turns were performed Promotion of a safe and sane Fourth of July Sea Scouting began Boys’ Life became the offi cial BSA magazine Pack & Troop 140 Volunteering efforts include: Volunteering: Food for Lane County, Memorial Day Parade, Veteran’s Day Parade, American Legion Hall Pancake Breakfast, and Spagetti Feeds. Our Troop has produced 5 Eagle Scouts in the last 2 years. Activities include: National Youth Leadership Training, Camp Baker Summer camp, Camp Melakwa Sisters Mtns, Camp Baker-Coast, Camp Meriweather-Coast, Camp Baldwin at Mt Hood, and Camporee in the spring are all functions our Pack and Troop attend. Troop 140 Scoutmaster: Karen Zeller, 541-942-4413 The Troop meets Monday nights, 7pm at the American Legion Hall Pack 140 Cubmaster Christie Johnson, 541-214-5931 The Pack meets Wednesday nights, 6:30pm at the American Legion Hall The American Legion Hall is our Sponsor, we place and remove fl ags on Main St. for them for every major holiday.
