The Society's Jan Thompson, pictured at right, said the Ba- zaar is one of a number of yearlong proj- ects for the organization. Thompson of- fered james and jellies for sale; books and knit items, cookies and a soup lunch were also among their wares. "We're able to keep our prices low be- cause our parishioners contribute the pro- duce, jams and other items," Thompson said. The Bazaar reportedly began over 20 years ago with just one table of goods and has since expanded exponentially. Its proceeds help fund the Altar Society's ef- forts to cook meals after funerals, provide clothing for local drives and a regular soup lunch. photo by Jon Stinnett www.shoppelocal.biz COMMUNITY BRIEFS NO MATTER WHERE YOU PURCHASED YOUR HEARING AIDS WE ARE HERE TO HELP!
