COTTAGE GROVE SENTINEL July 15, 2015 3B S PEEDWAY Continued from 1B Berry had the fi eld covered but was unable to develop too big of a lead because of several cau- tions. Seven total yellow fl ags took place in the main event, and Berry was able to keep all chal- lengers in check — that is, until the fi nal lap. A crash occurred in turns three and four, which prompted a yellow/checkered situation. And coming to the fi nish line, Cottage Grove driver Curtis Towns beat out Berry for the win. Mark Carrell from Redmond also edged out Berry Jr. for second. Finishing behind Berry in fourth was Nick Trenchard from Klamath Falls, while Cottage Grove’s Braedon Hand was fi fth.
