Justin Lemon of Fall Creek was the early race leader in the
125cc main event before Lebanon’s Kyle Roles took over af-
ter a few laps. Roles mastered the restarts of the two cautions
to get his fi rst CGS win of 2015.
Brenden McMaster blazed the trail early in the 250cc ranks.
But Conner Hanson of Creswell soon passed the Roseburg
youngster. Hanson stayed in the position and dominated the
rest of the distance to win for the fi rst time at Cottage Grove.
Finally, the Open Kage division saw quite a battle for the
lead. Oakland’s Scott Fox got the lead early, but he would be
under tremendous pressure for the entire distance. But Fox
managed to stay out in front to hold on for the victory.
The next race for the Cottage Grove Speedway Kage Karts
is Friday, June 19.
