Mrs. Mary Dunn and children, of Seattle, spent several days here visit ing with old friends. A Christian Endeavor watch party was held at the J. H. Kirk home Mon day evening. Mr. and Mrs. Emit Kirk, of Leona, arrived here Tuesday for a visit with relatives and friends. Mrs. Lora Hubbard and two children, Mabel and David, were Row River vis itors Tuesday. Mrs. J. E. Holstrom made a trip to Row River on business Tuesday. Mrs. K. K. Robinson and daughter Helleue returned to Eugene Tuesday, after a short visit here. Roy Land, of Springfield, was in this vicinity Tuesday and Wednesday look ing for wild grape root. Mr. Ruscoe was up from Portland looking over his place Tuesday. John Holstrom. the Dorena merchant, is doing a rushing business these days. He made two trips to Row River with supplies Wednesday. Mr. and Mrs. C. W. Beals made a trip to Cottage Grove Wednesday evening. Mr. and Mrs. J. H. Kirk are at I'ort Stevens visiting their son Wayne. Mrs. Emit Kirk and Miss Benetta Teeters visited high school Thursday afternoon. Miss Edith Kirk spent Friday night visiting with Miss Belle Van Schoiack. Miss Elsie Lea spent the week end at Cottage Grove. Mrs. John Holstrom left Friday for Fort Stevens, where she will visit her brother, Wayne Kirk. Mrs. Anna Teeters, of Mabel, re turned to Cottage Grove Friday* evening after having visitial a week with rela tives and friends here. Milton Ward left Saturday for Se attle, where he will make his home. Mr. and Mrs. Glenn Jennings and son. Glenn, Jr., returned to their home at Leona Saturday after visiting relatives here for two weeks. Ernest Bedford is here from Eugene visiting his uncle, Jas. Bedford. A basket dinner was held in the hull Sunday. The members of the coyote club were out hunting Sunday. They reported no success.
