Murphy and son Paul were in the Grove one day last week marketing poultry. Mr. and Mrs. \V. W. Gildersleve vis ited one day of last week with friends in Lynx Hollow. Miss Muriel Taylor, of Cottage Grove, visited one day of last week at the home of her cousin, Mrs. E. M. Babcock. D. A. Wheeler and E. M. Babcock hauled wood to the Grove Friday. O. C. Luchterhand made a business trip to the Grove Friday. N C. E. Wood arrived from Idaho Thurs day. Mrs. J. Wood was in the Grove on business Thursday. Frank Overholser hauled wood to the Grove Friday. Dale McCoy was in town on business the last of the week. Mrs. Lou Wheeler is nursing Mrs. Wm. Harrison, o f Cottage Grove. Mrs. Harrison has been confined to her bed several weeks with paralysis. John Moe transacted business in the Grove Wednesday. Mrs. D. Cole and son and Miss Mary Dwyre were in the Grove Friday. The Willis & Ashby thresher operated for Arthur White on the Mrs. Thompson place Thursday. Mrs. Ella Thompson spent a day in Portland oa business recently. Miss Janet Davidson, of Knox Hill, spent the week-end with her sister, Mrs. T. Richardson, and Mrs. J. Moran. T. Richardson installed a new rroirtn separator last week. Miss Janetta Moe went to Cottage Grove the first of the week to work at the Sterling home. Mr. and Mrs. Roy Wheeler returned from Harrisburg Sunday night. W. W. Gildersleve is roofing the two large burns on the Eugene Miller place. W. G. Bittinger and L. B. Slagle ar rived home Thursday from Bohemia. Mr. and Mrs. C. E. Wood went to Co burg Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. Glen Green, of the Grove, were Sunday visitors a* the F. A. Green home. II. M. Damewood and Mr. Quartermas were in the Grove Monday. Mr. and Mrs. B. W. Garner and daughter Ruth were in the Grove Mon day. Mrs. Mary Clark left Monday to spend the winter in California. Among the Grove visitors from here Monday were Mrs. John Moe, Mrs. J. F.
