on ta b le worn paper aprons and paper
1 headgear made from C o ttag e Grove
newspapers. T h e p r i n t e r ’s “ p i ” was a
pan covered with paper, browned in
such a m a n n e r as to represent a gen
uine pie. U n d ern e ath th e paper top this
pan was f i ll e d with doughnuts, each
doughnut had a s trin g tied to it and
the strin g was a tt a c h e d to a toothpick,
which was s tu c k into the top o f the
pie. In order t o find out what was
re ally at th e end o f the strin g the
gu ests were o blig ed to keep pulling un
