One of Mr. Chaneay’s children was down with the chicken pox, but is now well and there aro no more cases. Mrs. Trewella, of the Riverton hotel, was quite sick a few days last week. She has now quite recovered. Jules Guizot and family have moved into the W. A, Bean house Present Wanted. "The Deacon” is the title of a comedy-drama which will be enacted in the near future by members of the 8th, 9tb and 10th grades of our public school, under the efficient management of Mrs. Wooton, who gave the same play by her pupils elsewhere. The proceeds of tho performance will be used to purchase a piano for the school buildiDg, and will be liberally patronized by our people.
